Staff email problems resolved

The Staff email system is working again.

No mail should have been lost – the backlog of messages was securely held over the Christmas period and is now being delivered to staff accounts. Please note that it may take some time for all messages to be delivered, and for staff members to work through the backlog.

Some staff are still experiencing problems with replying to messages when using Webmail. The Networks and Servers team are aware of this and looking into it. In the meantime my advice would be to stop using Internet Explorer and switch to a more user-friendly web browser such as Firefox or Google Chrome.
